Hello! I'm Amy Jo. Welcome to my home on the web.

I'm also obsessed with spending time with my family, and being an amazing friend. In my free time I'm also very passionate about my community. Whenever I can I am an I-SERV member. Not sure what that is? It's the State of Iowa's volunteer network (for more info visit I can be deployed anywhere in the state to help with national disasters. Here at home, I help with Johnson County Public Health Medical Reserve Corps. I'd love to get to know you a little better, contact me below and come say hello and tell me where you're from, it's always so much fun to see where everyone is located.

I graduated with an Associate of Science Degree from Kirkwood Community College in Graphic Communications and attended Arizona State University. 

Currently I am a Marketing Manager for CellSite Solutions LLC. I'm extremely excited to use my experience as well as learn new things every day.

Previously, I served as Advertising Coordinator; the driving force behind the graphic design & social media for nationally known and locally loved real estate company: Coldwell Banker Real Estate Professionals.

April 2017 - Present


I am the Advertising Coordinator for Coldwell Banker Real Estate Professionals and 40+ Realtors. Projects include but not limited to; flyers, logo design, business cards, postcards, magnets, banners, tent signs, yard signs, open house signs, newspapers ads, social media campaigns, social media elements, social media videos, etc., via Adobe Creative Suite. I effectively maintain working relationships and coordinate with outside vendors for the ordering of products that cannot be completed in house. I order and maintain an inventory of all printing and office supplies for the office. Maintain websites and manage social media pages. Implemented and utilize cross-posting for ease and scheduling of social media. Introduced digital target marketing to replace newspaper advertisements. Maintains website, property photos, agent photos, and content. Supports in-office events. Organizes and creates calendars and PowerPoint office updates for TVs. Assist agents with writing remarks on MLS. Draft and submit new agent and/or office announcements and press releases. Assist in weekly office meetings. Provides support to Administrative Assistant with duties including but not limited; reception, answering multi-line phone system, technical questions, spreadsheets, scheduling, welcome packets, office supplies, conference calls, download pictures, files, scanning, faxes, lockbox inventory, forms, copy machines, etc.

November 2018 - May 2020


I was a Sales Lead & Outreach Captain for White House Black Market in Coral Ridge Mall. As Sales Lead I supervised store associates engaged in sales, assisted with inventory, reconciliation of cash receipts, and provided customer service. I continuously met and exceeded sales expectations every month. I maintained knowledge of current sales, promotions, and displays merchandise in accordance with standards and coached sales associates. I built and maintained a solid customer following, communication via text, email, and Style Connect. As Outreach Captain I created marketing, executed, and contacted clients, vendors, secured sponsors, for in-store events. Increased outreach; via sales appointments, by double-digit comps over the previous year. Trained associates on Style Connect. This platform allowed associates to interact, sell, and style online customers or our customers that could not be present in the store. Assisted Manager and Assistant Manager with all duties.

June 2014 - April 2017


I was a Sleep Professional at Sleep Number (Corporation) located in Coralville. I assisted customers from a wide variety of backgrounds select specific sleep solutions. I prided myself by giving excellent customer service to new and existing customers..."Your clients will only work with you, AJ!" I loved working on the Events Team; Event Captain at the Iowa State Fair, home shows, events in-store and other tradeshows around Iowa, Minnesota, and Nebraska. I had the honor to be selected for the Sleep Revolution College Tour! Ask me about it!! While working at the store I assisted in all operations of store audits, visual merchandising, inventory, and maintenance. When management was on vacation or a store was short-staffed I helped at multiple store locations (Cedar Rapids, Davenport, and Waterloo). I used my networking skills and past experience to recruit high performing talent for Coralville and Cedar Rapids locations.

July 2013 - June 2014


I started as a part-time retail Sales Associate and was promoted to a full-time Lighting Specialist at Light Expressions by Shaw. I worked directly with homeowners and contractors to provide adequate lighting for residential and commercial spaces. I operated as a liaison between many parties including vendors, contractors, electricians, and homeowners. My interest in design grew while my detail-oriented work ethic remained, and I enjoyed blending design ideas with technical advice.

Some of my other duties include:

  • Completing electrical walkthroughs to determine where and what kind of lighting is needed

  • Meeting with builders and homeowners to present lighting options

  • Ordering from over 40 vendors and tracking multiple P.O.s, working to alleviate any issues that arise

  • Providing customer service in the lighting showroom

August 2012 - July 2013


As a Production Assistant at Zephyr Printing & Designs and Imprinted Sportswear, I completed printing, signs & graphics, retail sales, custom retail orders, and orders for custom apparel screenprinting and embroidery. I always provided excellent customer service and helped customers design and create projects. I drove company vehicles to multiple locations as well as many companies in the community. I represented the reputation and professionalism of the Zephyr brand. I created daily cleaning forms and helped train part-time associates. I assisted the Imprinted Sportswear Director in her absence with all projects, scheduling, ordering, and production. Assisted in setting up and selling at University of Iowa Hawkeye sporting events.

May 2010 - June 2012


I was a Luxottica Retail North America Sunglass Hut Store Manager in Coralville. I oversaw daily functions of store operation, selling, recruiting, store set-up, maintenance, and inventory control. Achieved store success by working towards the maximum expectations; sales plan, secret shopper, customer service, and organization. Worked in a single coverage environment as well as a team leader. Promoted to higher volume store within 9 months of employment; managed locations and trained new staff. Obtained Regional Captain ROI & OneSight role; oversaw event planning and execution of OneSight Events. We helped over 88 school-age children receive free eye exams and prescription eyewear.
